Pundamilia nyererei is a species of fish in the Cichlidae family. The genus Pundamilia is doubtfully distinct from Haplochromis.
It is found in Kenya and Tanzania. Its natural habitat is freshwater lakes. It is becoming rare due to habitat loss.
